I've got a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach!
I went for my job interview, I think it went well and I do hope that I get the job working as a Customer Service advisor for the AA for several reasons.
1) After 3 months training I will be working from home.
2) Regular pay cheques.
3) Not too much emphasis on sales targets.
What is it about my life that means whenever I go for an interview I meet someone who has previous knowledge of either my hometown or where I used to work??
The guy who interviewed me today not only lived in the town where Hedgewolf and I lived and married but also worked for the same company as I did - I was there between 1991 - 1995 and he was there from 1995 - 2000. Spooky!!
One day I'll be having a job interview in New Zealand/Australia/Portugal or wherever it is we end up and I'll meet someone who used to live in the same street - sure of it!
I should know about the job by the end of next week and if I do get it will be starting training in September.
and another interview next Thursday. Cool!
My foot is giving me gyp cos I had to wear 'proper' shoes today - it doesn't like my 1.5 inch heels!
Still I can rest again now......
