Cleaning toilets ....

by SketchWeasel @ Monday, Jan. 15, 2007 - 21:53:28

Now I know my hubby is an extremely capable man ... most of the time!

Although he has a tendency to cut himself on blunt objects ... strange considering that he when he sharpens his axes and chisels they are to an unatural sharpness.

However when I find things like this in my in box - I do tend to worry a little about what goes on when I'm not at home .....

How to Clean the Toilet ...

1. Put both lids of the toilet up and add 1/8 cup of
pet shampoo to the
water in the bowl.

2. Pick up the cat and soothe him while you carry him
towards the bathroom.

3. In one smooth movement, put the cat in the toilet
and close both lids.
You may need to stand on the lid.

4. The cat will self agitate and make ample suds.
Never mind the noises that
come from the toilet, the cat is actually enjoying
this.

5. Flush the toilet three and or four times. This
provides a "power-wash."

6. Have someone open the front door of your home. Be
sure that there are no
people between the ba throom and the front door.

7. Stand behind the toilet as far as you can, and
quickly lift both lids.

8. The cat will rocket out of the toilet , streak
through the bathroom, and
run outside where he will dry himself off.

9. Both the commode and the cat will be sparkling
clean.

Sincerely,
The Dog

Ah well that explains what the cat was on about a few weeks ago.

Oh bloody hell.....

by SketchWeasel @ Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 - 22:02:00

Bloody 'ell - it's the 13th of January and this is my first posting of 2007 - now can someone tell me where I put 2006 please.......

I'm still working hard for the Gas Board as my lovely (and some very unlovely) customers still insist on calling British Gas.

I've been offline for a few days, Mr Sketchweasel and I decided that now our foster son has flown the nest we are going to start converting our drawing room into my office, which has always been the general plan, so in preparation for the shifting of the desk - a large cockpit affair, that it was time to do that disk format I've been promising myself for the last 18 months.  So we did and it all was going well - up until the point we discovered that our broadband connection and wireless router were not being recognised by my pc.  Grrr.... after much faffing, swearing and sweating, we are now back on line, still confused by it all - it seems that my pc didn't have all it's motherboard drivers installed and I'd lost my audio as well.  Grrrr... No Napster!!!!  We phoned aol for som advice and they couldn't help but THEY  are dropping our payments by a fiver a month and sending us a new wireless router, after 10 years as reliable customers so they should!

Even when we lived in the caravan we keep our subscription up to date, so that when we had the urge we could plug our laptop into a friends phone line and catch up with the world.

Very glad to be back on line - it gets a bit confusing tho.  I use computers all day everyday and switching between home pc and work pc can get very baffling, I keep trying to type my BG lan id into the pc at home - poor thing is most confused!

and just because I'm 13 days late doesn't mean I don't mean it - HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL

love n hugs
