It was a busy day for me yesterday baking and blogging all day. I decided that as I start my new job next Monday I should fill the freezer with good food, so that when I get in from work I don't have to be arsed to cook.
I'm looking forward to the day when my husband, daughter and foster son have the necessary Life Skills to look after themselves, which they are going to have to do in the very near future.
I don't expect the house to sparkle and reek of polish when I get in from a hard days graft but it would be nice not to have to pick up and tidy up after them and not have 40 loads of washing to get done over the weekend. I shall be typing up lists of instructions and rotas next! God it's so like being a house parent again - I thought gave that job up in July.

As things have changed I would set out some new rules for all and sundry.
Its called I think..."Regime Change".
get them all to sign up to a rota on
Washing up
Putting all their mucky clothes in the washer and how to seperate while clothes from coloured things (an education in itself for some)
Cooking
Cleaning
Handing out the washing once the washer has done.
Knock up a list and have a "house-meet". Don't do it all yourself girl, if you are working, get the others to chip in a bit.
