It's been a while ....
As you can imagine - moving house is no picnic, we finally finished moving the last of our stuff from the garage at the farm last weekend!
Our little house is now crammed to the gills with STUFF, STUFF AND MORE BLOODY STUFF!
To top that - last weekend I fell over the dog whilst getting the dinner out of the oven - damn dog isn't even supposed to be in the house when I'm cooking but some silly blighter left the stable door open!
Now I'm in complete agony and can barely put one foot in front of the other. Fibromyalgia has reared it's most ugly face again ... the only comfortable position is laying down with a pillow under my left hip. Not good.....
Still hunting for a new job - gave up the house parenting when we left the farm, we are now home providing for one student. Which is fine, because we are completing an annexe at the back of the house, with his help so that he can live in it eventually, at the moment he's got the front room and a futon.
So within the space of two short months, we've moved all our stuff, built a conservatory and chopped our way through ten years of neglected garden, to find something which is incredibly beautiful and was once a much loved garden but the HUMONGOUS Pampas grass had to go .. it took a week and a half with a mattock and determination to dig it out in preparation for burning. But now it's gone we can start to build the herb garden. By the time we finish it all it will be an environmentally friendly organic garden that will supply fruit and veggies all year round. The 'grey' waste from the annexe will be piped along the garden to supply water for the veggies and plants.
Anyway - enough waffle - I need to lay down again.
